what's a boychik to wear?

So, I realized that Dyke March should be an opportunity for fabulosity, thanks in part to [livejournal.com profile] wookiepocket's post about getting dragged up as Betty Crocker for the stuff around her neck of the woods. Um, all I can come up with is fairy wings, which I don't have. So if anyone has a pair o' wings I can borrow (preferably gossamer, rather than fluff), let me know. Or if anyone is super crafty and can tell me how to make them, that would work too.

I worked 11 and a half hours today and I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Since I know that I won't and will likely stay up for hours on end, I made myself a wicked strong g+t to nurse. No one drinks that fucking old bottle of Tanqueray besides me, anyway.

Ayy, I need to get up and do another 12 hours in 10 hours. Blah. I'm gonna call my girlfriend, and dream of wonderful costumes for next weekend. Any aspiring-glam people should help me think up outfits.

DYKES???

so i mentioned that option... bois dating bois... trouble. thats like C/K and Alex... no good, as you probably know.

oh and i think you should go as a serious queen. i'm talking femmey as all hell. just because i think dyke marches are times to expand yourself and your comfort level. plus, oliboi in drag would be way hot. take a picture for me!

Yeah, I like doing femme drag, but I've been so anxious around being read as a girl lately/not passing as a boy that I don't know. Hm. But aren't wings queeny enough??

Yeah, I guess you're right, but...well, logically, a non-queeny guy would not be very likely to wear wings, so ergo are they queeny?
Thanks for the well wishes, Liza ;)
