hag sameach + i hate work!
Hi.
So, trans-forming feminism conference was...unsatisfying, but worth attending. You know what I mean? The workshops I went to sounded really promising, but many ended up derailed or with too broad a focus (which effectively ended up as derailment anyway). It was good to meet people and eat some pb+j before the sun went down, and get this butch named Aimee to buy Keren and me some kosher wine to bring to her great-aunt + uncle's for Pesach.
Which was delightful.
But I missed my family.
And I ate lots of k-for-P kugel, mmm.
And Keren is an absolute delight. I was buying cigarettes and she started talking to me about how bad for you it is and everything, and let's just say: this kid can do an excellent trach joke. (Trach as in tracheotomy, sorry about th spelling.)
GAHHHhh i'm so tired of school. I can't even get through this lame "Invisible Heart" book which means it's sure gonna be a pain in the ass writing an excellent 5 page paper about it due Tuesday, with my Queer Theory paper about the morphological imaginary, body image, and discourses of SRS due the same day, etc etc. Ew. I should go read.
