Style it in a fun way! It helps the resisting effort and such.

Like mine was way short until I decided I'd faux-hawk it, and now it's what I consider long, meaning 3 inches or so.

Yeah but I don't know how to style it. (There, I admit it, I'm a failure of a fop.) It's just kinda ick and floppy in a way that I think makes me look like a girl. It's what I would consider long, meaning I almost have bangs that touch my eyebrows if I were to pull it down across my face.

If I hadn't started thinking about the politics of me being a white kid with a mohawk, I would so go back to my diy 'hawk of bygone days. maybe I should just hack at the sides and let the front grow in?
