I just ate a granny smith apple from the 124th st deli where the countermen like me that tasted strangely like a pumpkin.

This feels like an archetypal Monday and my body aches, sinuses pounding. I got to hang out with an awesome albeit snot-nosed toddler-child yesterday so I hope I'm not catching her cold. It was fun to see the playful happy side of this oft-sullen child, throw her around playing airplane and watching our puppies wrestle eachother endlessly.

When I'm home I'll have to write more about the awesome, deepdown cleaning I did of the apartment on Sunday. The whole shebang, from baseboards to psychic debris.

ps- it's amazing what a good haircut and a couple new NYC friends can do for a person- I'm definitely moving out of the past quarter-year funk.

deep cleaning! i'm impressed, I'll have come back over sometime to admire it (maybe when your roomie isn't intent on peerpressuring me into doing lines with him! ha)

well, you better come over quick, cos all it takes is a couple days for it all to be undone...Though I guess I can make the committment to upkeep, hehe. Oh, my roommate-- it wasn't peer pressure, it was a misplaced sense of generosity! ahem.
