I'm being hyperbolic, but what I mean is institutionalized Continental philosophy on the east coast. Seriously! I don't know precisely when but she's on the recommended reading list for my Plato class, one of the three thinkers in a class on difference at another university (the others being Derrida and Deleuze), etc etc. It's weird!
