dreams and breakfast.
May. 13th, 2005 02:27 pmSo the night before last I dreamt about Pesach, my grandfather pouring me a huge goblet of thin dry delicious wine. Last night I had anxious dreams about getting lost in Manhattan. I was trying to visit Saliena (because, you know, Atlanta, Manhattan, same thing) but the grid system had evidently decided to wormhole on me. It was awful, taking these bizarre subway rides down massive SF-like hills, only to find myself on 6th avenue and further downtown (??) than I had intended...Gah! I'm glad it wasn't real because I sure do hate not having a well-honed sense of direction.
Babycakes breakfast at 1pm was nice, but my eggs weren't dry enough. I did however dip my toast in crème anglaise because I am, indeed, an indulgent motherfucker.
Now I'm in the library wearing some old t-shirt of Cristina's ex's and about to crack open my econ book and learn me some capitalism.
Speaking of capitalism, I ran into Uma yesterday and I am so excited about taking her seminar next year. Excited in that, "I can't wait for it to kick my ass!" kinda way.
And there are so many fun things going on tonight, including services in 4 hours. I need to get studying, yo.
