velvet curtains on the windows too
Jun. 13th, 2006 08:22 pmSo today was spent mostly sleeping off an inexplicable 102˚ fever, waking in a sweat after those repetitive obsessive fever-dreams to find it broken but my back and fingers still aching. I have no idea what's wrong with me but I hope to wake up tomorrow 100%, do some magic and legwork for gainful employment, see Lisa. Suddenly I've more or less booked myself clear through the first of July, a fact which brings me great joy but probably isn't helping my case with my parents so much ('no guys, see, it'll be fine--I'll find a job and tell them I can't start working til July 1st, it'll be grand!')
Judith Butler's new book is good so far but aesthetically unappetizing, plus I've never read Adorno so I'm going on her word alone.
