there's more to life than books, you know

i think what i'd miss most if i had a same-sex partner would be the option to have a child together. & in the process of not identifying as hetero (well, or bi) i think that'd be the hardest for me to give up. it's not even about the whole nuclear family thing, just having been raised thinking i could see me mixed with someone else, and that not being an option anymore. (i think i'd get a brother to donate if possible. though when i talked to matt about this earlier he mistakenly heard me saying "i'd impregnate jerm.")
