So this guy's interests are a little creepy (check out the link to some community called "real_men," for instance), but it seems like an interesting first-hand look at what's going on in New Orleans. According to The Nation, this guy managed a bar in the French Quarter and lived in a housing project called Iberville, and is now writing about what's he's seeing:

Hey you.
I read Starfrosting 8 cover to cover this morning. It took me forever to do this because I am usually either very lazy or very busy. Bah! Anyway, I love you for being the little theoryhead you are & I liked the way you do poetry too. Your piece about bottoming is my fav. because I'm one too, ha!
I think I am gonna do a little writeup on my LJ about Starfrosting, but today my brain is so tired & it's naptime for Chan.
