Crannky. Man. I have one last gay nerve and damn near everything is stepping on it. Let's hope this portends blood and not an utter loss of focus and drive for the rest of the school year. If I can just settle in with the Republic for an hour and then go drink some wine and then do some outlining I'm sure it will be okay...G-ddess help me. This is like sophomore slump but skipping and stretching a semester.

On the plus side, seeing Jaclyn and Colin over break was delightful. Having heart-squeezing conversation with my grandmother was delightful. Seeing my family was delightful, if filled with its utterly frustrating and tear-nerve-twisting moments.

Got that DiPrima poem in my head: let it continue, let it continue...You know the one? How can I ever leave anywhere without one of her books stashed?
