in a strange land
May. 18th, 2006 02:47 pmJewish practice me manque.
One thing I would really like to do in Istanbul is go to shul. I have no idea where Ev lives in relation to the shuls I've found, but I should ask her about it. Also I need to find myself a good reconstructionist siddur or, failing that, a renewal one which will be replete with transliteration and feminist language. I want to learn prayers and Torah passages and interpretations and stories and history.
