I love getting up when no one else is awake and having the house to myself. I've been up for a little while now and it is divine. If only my sinuses weren't pounding. I put up a pot of porridge (it definitely deserves the name porridge if it is called "pinhead oatmeal" and takes a damn half hour to cook) and I'm gonna work out while it cooks. I know this must sound terribly boring like an old person's morning but it's so peaceful. Now if I just stick some meditation in there, I'll have such a good moring practice established.

back in the states it is currently 5:40 in the morning. I have yet to go to sleep. i am writing a paper due at 1:10. in same class, i will be required to give a presentation on something written in middle english.

I love/hate those kinds of nights. I always feel superhuman when I pull out something decent in time for a 1pm class, and I hope you do the same.

pinhead oatmeal? as in farina? if that's the case, i have to laugh because i just finished off a bowl of the same...except mine cooked in 2.5 minutes :-P
